An old-fashioned fruit making a welcome come back. By slow poaching the quinces over a long period we allow the jelly to develop a dark rose colour with a slightly sharp flavour and rich perfume. This jelly is great with an aged cheese. Try stirring through a Turkish lamb casserole to add a sweet sharpness or as a glaze for chicken. Gently melt to glaze a fruit tart or just spread on hot scones for a delicious treat. 230gm

  • Damson plums are small sour plums with thick, dark blue, bloomy skins often found in old orchards and prized for making jellies and jams. Our jelly is tangy, slightly tart with a strong plum flavour. Delicious on scones or toast. I love to use the jelly on a platter with sharp goats cheese and cured meats. Warm it up and use to glaze a plum tart adding that extra depth of flavour. 230gm

  • Possibly the best chutney ever. Hot, sweet and spicy. We age our peach chutney for 3 months to allow all the flavours to mellow. Great with soft cheese or cold roast meats, stirred into a casserole, this chutney is one of my favourites and I always have a jar on hand. 330gm

  • Quince Paste, quince cheese or Membrillo requires some patience to make but it is so worth it. Ours is made with local spray free quinces, slowly cooked for 2-3 hours. Spread on any sharp cheese, use as a glaze, or to add depth to a casserole. I just eat it in slices as a sweet treat. 140 gm
